Bowstring Truss Prefabricated Steel Bridges

The Bowstring Truss is distinct with the top chord significantly arched relative to the bottom chord. The top chord reaches down to the deck at the ends of the span. A Modified Bow is similar.  The top chord is arched relative to the bottom, but the top chord meets the end post near the railing height at the ends of the span. Both styles can incorporate Pratt or Warren web configurations.  They are used for a variety of span lengths for their distinct architecture.           View Examples
