Panel-Lam Installation

1. Panel-Lams are compatible with any foundation. Once the substructure is complete, deck assembly begins.

2. Deck level, top-down construction is possible.

3. Lifting eyes are included for easy handling. Panel size can be adjusted to match lifting capabilities.

4. Panels are positioned to overlap the adjacent splice blocks.

5. The upper splice block is predrilled as a guide for field drilling the lower splice block. Drive spikes will connect the seam.

6. Panels ends are attached to the sub-structure with drive spikes. Multiple spans are connected with straps over the pier seam.

7. Using match-marks the pre-framed rail and curb components are laid out to mark holes for field drilling the deck.

8. A grooving tool is used to notch the deck for split rings.

9. The scupper blocks and curbs are assembled.

10. Rail posts are pre-drilled for connection to the deck, curb, and rail. Rail is field-drilled for connection to the posts.

11. With the rail attached the deck is now ready for a wear course.

12. Most applications call for an asphalt wear surface.
