Timber Trusses Match Performance With Style
    

Timber Truss Recreation Bridge
        Timber truss designs have been used for centuries. Wheeler's modern techniques combine timber with internal steel connectors to produce a spatial truss with a striking appearance. With the ability to handle pedestrians or vehicles, it’s the perfect centerpiece for your next project.

     Designed as a kit, the trusses are shop manufactured. Depending on overall size, the bridge is shipped in components or is completely shop assembled.

     The railing meets AASHTO standards and is attached directly to the trusses. Wind bracing placed outside the trusses provides additional clearance under the bridge.

     Pressure treated timber matches style with performance. Treatments are carefully selected to blend durability, appearance and function. Teamed with galvanized hardware, the bridge is ready for years of maintenance-free service.


     Spans: 30’ - 60’ (5' increments)
